Pan Seared Salmon

simple and elegant.....

Ingredients:

2 tbsp coconut oil

2 large salmon fillets

1 tsp sea salt or himalayan salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tbsp maple syrup

1tsp rosemary

Preparation:

  1. In a small frying pan, heat the coconut oil on medium-high heat for 2 mins. Add fresh rosemary into the pan with the oil.

  2. Cook rosemary and oil for 1 minute. Watch carefully so it doesn’t burn.

  3. Place salmon fillet into the pan to fry.

  4. Sprinkle the upside of the salmon with the salt, pepper, maple syrup and rosemary.

  5. Cook for 3 mins.

  6. Flip the fillet.

  7. Sprinkle this side of the salmon with the salt, pepper and maple syrup.

  8. Move the rosemary around the pan to extract the flavour.

  9. Cook for 3 mins.

  10. Serve!
